Navigating the Path Forward: An Update to Web Weekend Kathmandu 2023

Our journey with wwktm isn’t without its twists and turns. The upcoming Web Weekend Kathmandu 2023 conference, set for September 23-24, has been cancelled. We understand the anticipation and excitement that accompany such events, and it is with a heavy heart that we share this news.

This decision was not taken lightly. In the heart of our decision lies a dedication to upholding the standards and spirit that define the conference. Our core team, made up of passionate volunteers, is deeply committed to delivering an exceptional experience. However, the challenges and constraints that life has presented us with have made it clear that we would be unable to provide the caliber of event that both our attendees and speakers deserve.

The future

Please know, this is not a farewell. Far from it. Think of it as a pause button (we hope) – a chance for us to catch our breath and come back stronger. We are taking this time to reflect, restructure, and envision a future that aligns with our mission. We invite you to keep the spark of your involvement alive and explore the avenues that lie ahead. If you’ve been following our monthly meetup – Tech Kura Kani (TKK), that continues. Join us every last Thursday for your monthly dose of web wisdom and connection. (more details on twitter)

Want to help us?

We’re on the hunt for the next wave of leaders who’ll help shape the future of wwktm. Fresh minds, dynamic thinkers, and folks with a passion for pushing boundaries. If you’ve got the fire and a love for crafting unforgettable experiences, we want you by our side. Send us a DM on twitter.

Fin.

As we pause, reflect, and recalibrate, we’re not saying goodbye; we’re saying, “See you soon, in a world of possibilities.”

Helping make wwktm happen.
